Love, Sex and the IRS
by William Van Zandt
Directed by Mark Allen-Everett
Presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
Try to cheat the IRS and look what happens! Here is a wild comedy with twists of fate, sight gags, mistaken identities and hilarious comic lines. Two men, Jon and Leslie, are out-of-work musicians who room together in New York City. To save money, Jon has been filing tax returns listing the pair as married just as the IRS informs the "couple" they're going to be investigated. Leslie masquerades as a housewife, aided by Jon's fiancee, Kate, complicating matters further as the comedy builds.
