Sylvia

Written by A.R. Gurney

Directed by Tamara Griffey and Dr. Dian Pizurie

Presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

This modern romantic comedy is about a marriage and a dog. Greg and Kate, a couple at a relationship crossroad, have just moved to Manhattan. Their kids are off to college and Greg's career is winding down while Kate's is beginning to blossom. Greg begins his mid-life crisis by bringing home Sylvia, a dog he found in the park. Or did Sylvia find him? The street-wise pooch becomes a diversion to Greg but a rival to his wife. A series of hilarious and touching complications drives a wedge between the couple until they learn to compromise, and Sylvia the dog becomes a valued part of their lives.

Please note that this play contains adult content and humor, and it is not appropriate for children.
